Year of the Rat
The Rat is number 1 of the 12 animals in the Chinese zodiac.
The Rat comes first in the zodiac because, in the legend of the Great Race, it rode on the Ox’s back and jumped ahead at the finish. Rats are said to be clever, adaptable and good with money.
